Privacy Policy
EyeCon Optics respects customer privacy. This policy explains the personal information we collect, why we use it, who may receive it, and the choices and rights available to customers.
Last updated: 7 October 2026Who controls the information
EyeCon Optics, business/company no. 558599619, Main Street, Tamra, Israel, is responsible for the personal information processed for the operation of this store. Privacy questions may be sent to eyecon.optics25@gmail.com or 054-485-8175.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect account information, name, email, phone number, delivery and saved-address information, order and customer-service information, cancellation-request details, and technical security information. The cart and wishlist may also be stored locally in your browser. We do not currently use the site to collect online prescription details; this policy will be updated before that feature is introduced.
Why we use information
Information is used to create and secure accounts, operate the catalog and cart, process and fulfil orders, arrange delivery or pickup, provide customer service, handle cancellations and legal requests, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, keep required business records and comply with law.
Whether information is mandatory
Unless a law specifically requires information, providing personal information is generally voluntary. Some fields are necessary to provide the requested service, create an account, deliver an order, identify a cancellation request or comply with legal obligations. If required information is not provided, EyeCon Optics may be unable to provide the relevant service.
Service providers and recipients
Information may be made available only as needed to service providers that support the website and store operations, such as hosting, database, authentication, communications, delivery and, once enabled, payment providers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or in connection with a lawful business reorganization.
Processing outside Israel
Some technology service providers may store or process information outside Israel. Where information is transferred abroad, EyeCon Optics will use service providers and safeguards appropriate to the circumstances and applicable Israeli law.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses technical authentication mechanisms and browser storage needed for functions such as sessions, cart and wishlist. We do not currently describe advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies because such tools are not currently part of the store. If that changes, this policy and any required consent mechanism will be updated.
Retention
Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including customer service, transaction records, security, dispute handling and legal or accounting obligations. Different categories of information may therefore have different retention periods.
Security
EyeCon Optics uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted communications where appropriate. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Access and correction
Subject to applicable Israeli law, a person may request access to personal information held about them and may request correction or deletion where the law provides such a right. Requests can be sent to eyecon.optics25@gmail.com. Identity verification may be required before a request is fulfilled.
Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated as the website develops, including when payment or online prescription features are introduced. The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.
